About WeldSync – Freelance welding coordinator (Level C – S460)
WeldSync BV is a specialized welding and quality consultancy founded by Dries Taveirne. Combining shop-floor experience (from welder to welding coordinator), education and accreditation, WeldSync helps companies improve their welding processes, documentation and compliance.
About the founder
Dries Taveirne is a certified International Welding Specialist (IWS) and is currently completing his International Welding Engineer (IWE) training. He has been formally accredited by Vinçotte to act as a welding coordinator at Comprehensive Level C, with authority up to S460 steel grades.
Dries started his career as a welder on the shop floor, which gives him unique insight into the practical challenges that welders and production teams face on a daily basis. This hands-on experience, combined with his later education and accreditations, means he thoroughly understands both the technical and practical aspects of the welding process.
WeldSync operates entirely on a freelance basis, giving companies access to high-level welding expertise without the cost of a full-time position. The focus is always on practical, realistic solutions that work in production environments, informed by real-world experience from the shop floor.
